What software is available for spliitting parts of music and adding them to others?

I want to be able to take half of Michael Jackson's Beat it for example, and add Smooth Criminal to it so that I can put a dance CD for choreography together. Does anybody know of a software that can split up songs and add parts of another song to it so that you have one track consisting of two or more different songs?
