What software will easily allow me to design and animate human figures?

What's a FREE software for mac that can easily generate a 3d human figure that I can design clothes for and animate? What software will easily allow me to design and animate human figures? This is actually quite a complex problem. Daz 3D is limited, but it's still much easier than most of the 'real' 3D software out there.

You can do anything you want with Blender

However, if you don't have the patience to learn Daz, Blender will not be fun for you. It's free, and about as easy as 3D modeling gets, but it's still not easy. There's a LOT to learn.

You can use makehuman to produce very nice human figures which you can then import to blender and animate, but these figures come without clothing. You have to make your own. Still, it's great for creating a human figure with plenty of options. It has the ability to pose, but you'll probably be better off doing the posing in Blender.

Building a 3D model requires knowledge of subdivision surfacing techniques (or similar techniques like NURBS.) It also requires an understanding of lighting, texturing, and armature rigging. Adding clothes will involve creating clothing models, and then applying cloth modifiers to it.

You can do everything you want in Blender, but you'll have to work hard. If you're looking for free and easy, you'll be looking for a long time.

Best of luck to you...What software will easily allow me to design and animate human figures? The program won't do it for you, it'll only allow you to do what you know how to do easier. If you don't know how to do it you can't do it, program or no program. You could try Blender, but you'll have the same problem - you have to know how to do what you want to do.
