PeachTree makes a decent accounting package. It's a little cumbersome at first but it would do what you need. QuickBooks also makes a package that's very similar.

Everyone in the office will have access to it and can easily make changes so that it is up to date.

Microsoft Office for starters, can't beat it, using Word for letters etc. PowerPont for presentations, Publisher for marketing and publicity material and your own business stationery, Excel for accounts, and most importantly start building up your databse in Access which can cover your invoicing, customer info inventory etc. If you design your database properly it can run the whole company for you.What kind of software would be best for my business?Here's a program I use for inventory, customer relationships, databases, and the like:

It's called Filemaker 10, and it really works. Very easy to use. Just pick a template and off you go, organizing away!
