What are the busiest days at the different Walt Disney World parks?

My Husband and I are going to Disney World from Dec. 13-21st. I would like to figure out what are the busiest days for each park, so I can plan to avoid the crowds. I have tried to do some research, but the various sites are contradictory. I don't know which one to believe. I've seen the argument that days that have extended magic hours are more crowded. Is that true? What is the secret? What are the busiest days at the different Walt Disney World parks?
That close to Christmas changes things a bit from the norm. Mornings won't be too bad at any of the parks since most schools will still be in secession.. DHS will be packed every evening due to the Osborne Family Lights. Epcot will be crowded from early afternoon onward on the nights of the candle light processional, and the more famous the guest is the more crowded the park will be. MK will be packed for the Christmas parade, but all the special entertainment for the Christmas Day special should be over with.

If you are staying onsite I would take advantage of the extra magic hours. If you are not staying onsite I would aviod the parks with extra magic hours.
The good news is you will be there before the busiest week of the year (the week between xmas and new years). If you are interested i have a disney travel agent who has done an itinerary for all my trips. I have followed her advice (most of the time) and i would have to say she is really good. I am not sure what she charges for itinerary planning alone but if you are booked at Disney and did the reservation through disney she was able to handle the trip for one of my friends and did all the planning for free. She will even make dining reservation and give you tips and tricks too! Email me if you want her contact info. What are the busiest days at the different Walt Disney World parks?
we went last week and all the parks were busy but i don't know why, most ppl were complaining that apart from the Magic Kingdom non of the other parks were worth visiting as they had only a couple of rides and were mostly shows or exhibitions. saturdays are always jammed packed at the Magic Kingdom because of the parades and fireworks and its deffo the best park to visit.
I recently went there and its always crowded. The days not to go are fridays saturdays sundays and mondays.alot of ppl go those four days to do all four of those parks. What are the busiest days at the different Walt Disney World parks?
try to avoid holidays in general and school breaks on regular days are friday- monday
Ignore whatever sites you've been on. It's quite simple, actually. The 1st significant wave will start to arrive on Saturday the 17th (for 2011). Attendance will increase slightly on the 16th, but most will be locals, or tourists who pulled their kids out a day early.

You've gotta HUGE advantage! 13th-16th are the days you want to take advantage of. This will give you like 3.5-days (since your arrival-date will probably only count as 1/2) to cram in several parks w/out the crazy crowds. Your most popular attractions will be 30-min's or less. You can basically walk right on to many of the other ones. All decorations, special events, etc. will be in full swing.

The crowd build-up is a subtle progression from the 13th-16th. However, when you wake up on the 17th, you'll notice the sudden surge. Given this, here's a game plan to consider...

...Tue 13th: Hollywood Studios (HS) for 1/2 day. Make sure you do your must-do's. Stay for the Osborne lights, and you can't miss Fantasmic (only during select nites). You can finish HS on a diff day.

...Wed 14th: Magic Kingdom (MK). The busiest of all parks. You want to do it on the 1st possible full day that you have.

...Thu 15th: Character Breakfast then EPCOT.

...Fri 16th: Animal Kingdom (AK). Go really early and get immediately on the Kilimanjaro Safari.

You might get different advise on the sequence. I haven't checked all the special events calendars to see if you'd be missing out on anything. From the 17th on, just know that the crowds will absolutely swell beyond belief. Fortunately, you'll have done your must-do's before then. You'll now be in a, "Let's finish this", and "I kinda want to do that again" mode. Also, the lesser stuff, like Downtown Disney, can be tolerated when it's busier.
