Good luckWhat is the best photo editing software for apple computers? The industry standard for photo editing is pretty much Adobe's Photoshop products. This can be quite expensive if you buy one of the latest versions, however, you can make a saving if you can find Photoshop CS1, 2 or 3 for sale anywhere. I still use CS1 and it is still very, very capable.
As for a free alternative, I think there is an iPhoto product that is free, but no idea if it is any good or not. There is also GIMP which is Open Source. I don't particularly like GIMP [feels clunky compared to PS] but others I know love it.What is the best photo editing software for apple computers?
The best is Adobe Photoshop but it costs $700!!!!
The next best is without doubt GIMP - which can do almost everything Photoshop can do, but to be honest there are some hoops to jump through installing it on a mac, which I did recently - and it didn't work well - I believe you have to install X11 first.

http://www.gimp.org/What is the best photo editing software for apple computers? If you intend to get into Professional editing i would advise Adobe Photoshop. But if your not and would only like it to touch up and add some snazzy edits to home photos i would advise using http://www.picnik.com/ which will do editing almost automaticly with you selecting effects, etc.. or you could edit your self with the use of http://www.sumopaint.com/home/
