Both algorithm and software are set of instrctions, then where the difference lies between these two?
I do not have IT background so expecting answer in general terms? What is the difference between algorithm and software?Algorithm is the design; software is the implementation of the design. I can design an algorithm without a computer, but I can't make it do anything without creating software.
Rather like the blueprints and the building.
Hope that helps. What is the difference between algorithm and software?Software implements algorithms. For example, the program Mathematica is a piece of math software, but it uses an algorithm to do the actual calculations. Software usually has a GUI (graphical user interface) for the sake of the user. The user implements the algorithm through the GUI. Does that sorta make sense?
