What are some neat ways of editing photos using software other than Photoshop?

I love editing photos but when it comes to using the software that I have I don't know where to start. I know about all the simple editing things like the special effects, but I want to know some cool other ways that people use to edit their photos to make them look really interesting. Yeah sure softwares like Photoshop and Gimp ain't easy ^_^



I suggest you PhotoFiltre Studio 9. It's an easy-to-use software that is still able to do very interesting things. That's the one I personally use and I'm very satisfied with it.



That version is special because it's PORTABLE. It means that you don't need to slow down your computer with a new installation.. To sum up, you just need to download it and then to click on it to use it ! (You can even take it with you in your usb key ;)
